Game: The Big Race

This is a fantastic game, and can be played without much space (a rug in a living room will do).

And it’s not really a race - kids take turns picking who shouts something out and teaching the movement, and that kid leads the way.

Kids line up on one side of the rug - shout something out, and then make that motion as they hurry across the rug and back (one at a time).

Examples of things shouted are:

*Froggy (hop across)

*Crabby (move sideways with pinch pinch)

*Cars The Movie, it’s your birthday (silly)

*Ballerina Moves

*Gangnam

*Big hops
