Hack: Time them

Parents, we’ve all been there.  You just need your toddler to ______ and then you can all head out the door.  Shoes, socks, you name it.  Getting them to do a simple task when you want them to is, well, no simple task.

My hack is to time them.  You could use a stop watch or just count out loud.

Suddenly, they want to put their shoes on as fast as possible!  

For added fun, I ask my daughter Lulu to use a magic speed up spell first!
