My 0.02: Other games I played a lot on Android in 2019
My swordigo post really blew up, so I wanted to let you all know that I play other games on Android too!
Usually I'm playing Android on my cell phone on the subway. So I'll categorize the games by 1-handed or 2, as sometimes I need a hand to hold onto the subway pole.

Great strategy card game with pretty cool mechanics. I recommend buying the expansion sets!
Kill the Kings
A solitaire like card games, but with more fun and strategy! Some players have logged hundreds of games! Free, with no ads!
Ballz
A little bit of strategy and luck, makes this game fun both for me and my young kids!
Temple Run
Still fun!
Color Switch
Tap tap your way through a series of mini-puzzles. It's kind of a weird game in that each puzzle is kinda easy, so it doesn't have a huge feeling of success, and yet I still play.
2048
Fantastic Puzzle game. Very addictive once you get the hang of it!
Paper Wings
Paper Wings is a fun 2 minute action game where you fly birds to catch sun. Silly and fun with fantastic controls.
Color Defense
Fantastic Tower Defense game with lots of levels and complexity!
Digfender
This gets my award for best Tower Defense on Android! Super fun and novel concept, well thought out levels. Get it!
Epic Little War Game
Years after first being introduced to this game, I'm still playing. Great army strategy game.
Splendor
A great strategy board game, which is now a fantastic port to Android!
Chess
For chess, if you have an internet connection, play lichess. If you have an iPhone and want to learn to get better at chess, download Dr. Wolf.
